In 2005, with the availability of new traction on Mostyn, several Sulzer type 2s were able to spend time in the sorting sidings.

Key Trains on Mostyn - An empty ballast train, consisting mainly of Cambrian Dogfish and Catfish, heads back to Penmaenmawr quarry whilst an Up Parcels train, with modified Lima BR GUVs leading, heads towards Chester and Crewe.
